Advent Calendar Tree
This 6 foot paper pieced tree has been a hit with my kids since I made one for each of them, probably 10 years ago. The pattern is Tall Trim the Tree. I added 24 red buttons spread over the tree and put ornaments in little bags, with a little gift also and number the bags, 1-24. I use ornaments that are not heavy or huge. Every year they give the tree and ornaments back to me to repeat the next December. It's a great tradition that we all enjoy! My kids hang it over a door with 2 pants hangers.
There is a 41" version - A little bit shorter tall tree pattern, if 6 feet seems too daunting.
